Content state

Content state: hidden

Content state hidden means the content is acting as if it had been removed from the ACE installation while not actually being deleted.

A hidden content will not publicly available in neither the Content Service nor the Search Service, and will also be excluded in tools such as the ACE Content Developer.

Content State Aspect

Content state for a content is controlled by a content metadata aspect of type aceContentState:

ACE Search Service

Content having a content state of being hidden will automatically be filtered from any searches in ACE search indexes based on public content.

ACE Content Service

Content having a content state of being hidden will not be available through any public content view such as acePublic.
